92 ranger 2.3 backfire ignition problem

ok so we have had this problem on the ranger for a whil now. it is an ignition problem im pretty sure. its starts but seems to only fire on one side. sees how the dis system has 8 plugs. we have replace the computer.. changed nothing. changed the dis module.. changes nothing. the timing seems to be correct as of the best placement but we are have countinues issues with it. we have gone through the harnees to look for a short but have not come up with anything yet. here is is quick video of it running so you guys can hear it. any help would be much appreciated and thanks in advance..

oh and after playing with it. every once in a while it actually comes to a smooth idle but once you accelarate the slightest bit it jumps right back to back firing and not running correct

thoughts........any codes?

1) timing belt jumped
2) coil pack is bad?
3) fuel pressure issue(pull the vacuum line off the FPR and see if any gas is in there, also do a fuel pressure test if you can)

we pulled a 222 and a 223. timing belt is still in place we pulled the timming cover and checked everything out. the codes were ignition codes. but we are limited to diagnostic tools. have a scanner and thats about it. and the truck is acting different. it runs with a back fire at some times. then it may clear up for a few seconds or it will run with a complet coil pack missing.

The coilpack for the drivers side is for the compression stroke. the coilpack for the passenger side is for the exhaust stroke. I believe the 222 is for the coilpack on the passenger side. when you put the new ICM did you put the grease on the back of it and did you put all the screws back in tightly. They are grounds and the truck will not run right if they are loose or missing. I would test your coil-packs with a multimeter. have you swapped the coilpacks so that each one has been on the driverside.
