Tie rod bracket failing

Has anyone else's tie rod bracket cracked where it is welded to the axle? I saw it when installing my new front springs. I am quite sure it can be welded, but is this a common defect and are there known or proven fixes to prevent future failures?

Never saw this issue before
If the roads where you live are like the ones in Illinois anythings possible.
I think we will be seeing a lot of problems with our trucks that we haven't seen before do to the road conditions
The gravel roads are in better shape than the asfault here get that
