Weird problem while running
The truck struggles when it starts, like if I don't give it gas, it will die. It started out when I got it as just a few seconds of struggling, but its progressed further. Now its running extremely rich and throwing a check engine light periodically. If I turn it off and re-start it, sometimes the check engine light will go away and it will run perfectly. I'm going to take it to the auto hobby shop on post today and see if they'll read the code for me. I'll probably also fix the fuel vent problem I've been having.
My guess:
Dirty Throttle Body
Oxygen Sensor
This thing doesn't have a mass airflow sensor, does it? The engine behaves like it thinks its not getting any air.

Depends on the year. If your truck is older than a 94/95 you have a MAP sensor which mounts on the fire wall. That could be your problem. I know when mine went out I had to mash the gas to get my truck to go over 5 mph.

Got some gas into it and started it. It did good, just started having a rough idle as soon as I started it. Check engine light came on, and it started running very rich. The exhaust was thick. I'm going to go get the code read today at the base hobby shop and see if I can fix it.
