My 11 F350 Lariat 6.7 is garage kept. When I exit the vehicle after turning it off, for a few moments the parking and clearance lights remain lit, along with the interior lights. After a bit, there is a beep, or whine for a second, from under the hood, then the lights all go out. I'm assuming that sound is normal.
I just went out into the garage for something, and I heard the noise. I walked over to the truck, and nothing was lit, inside or out. I walked away from it and it did it again, about a minute apart from the first time I heard it. I haven't driven the truck or gone anywhere near it since noon today.
Could it be reacting to the garage lights coming on? I do know every now and then I'll find the dash guages lit up without opening a door or even going near it for that matter... all I can figure is there is a light sensor somehow reacting to the garage lights coming on.
