Looks like the headlight switch gets it's power directly from the wire connected to the starter solenoid; battery side. Doesn't go thru the fuse box. So you need to follow the advice above and back trace the wiring to find out where it has been cut and re-routed. Looks like it is wire #25 bk/o. (I think that's black&orange) Page-01
The headlight switch has a built-in circuit breaker as the headlights themselves are not powered by the fuse panel but are, as mentioned, powered powered directly by the battery.
The tail lights, dash lights, running lights, etc. all are fed by the fuse panel.
On the instrument panel fuse, I took the fuse panel off the firewall and looked on back and there is a blue w/ red strip wire on both terminals...I followed one of the wires to my steering column which looks like goes to the light switch for the gear selector.
HOT DAMN...I just hooked a wire from the battery to it..cut off the fusible link to check what it was and pulled my switch...and booyah!!!! THEY CAME ON! HOLY FUDGIN ****.....
Do I need to install a new fusible link and wire it to the solinoid?
