Our Canadian highway tractors have been fueling at Esso, but their stations have been dropping like flies. We had a big wig in from Flying J to get some pricing mods in Canada, all our U.S. fueling is done at the J, but Canadian pricing is way off. Go figure, we're pulling it out of the ground like crazy up here and are still goosed at the pumps.

driving thru Quebec one year I noticed that they list all the taxes on the fuel reciept. On a fill in my '08 F150 with the 140 liter tank, over 1/2 the cost of the fuel was taxes.
Here diesel is 1.299. I stopped searching for a diesel truck.

Diesel is a bit more costly right now, but it seems to go up slightly every winter. For the past few years diesel has been more from about november to februaryish.
Rest of the year its usually 10-30 cents a liter though, hopefully its a continuing trend this next year!
For the 8ish months of the year we diesel guys get quite abit cheaper fuel, keeps me somewhat sane when they jack it up in the winter.

Thats usually the worst prices for fuel from what Ive noticed Morris. But its better then trying to run summer fuel in the winter, that just sucks.

Usually delivered bulk fuel is more than the cheapest pump price so that`s where I fill up my slip tank. Farm diesel is still cheaper in bulk of course with the 10-11 cents a litre off.

Usually places like Flying J have road diesel abit cheaper than delivered bulk fuel, it is nice to have it handy here on the farm tho.
As far as I know dyed diesel can only be purchased thru a bulk dealer when delivered to a farm location with a fuel tax exemption number.
