I don't exactly know what you would call the little decorative emblems on the headliner and seats in the upper trim level trucks, but I am missing one for the headliner I got for my '79. Anybody know if/where I could find these?
My friend worked at a print shop and got me a 4x6 sheet of some plastic flex board. Kind of like a tough foam/plastic material. Traced the original headliner on it, cut it out, then used 3M adhesive spray and sprayed the board and flag, layed it on top and used a credit card to press out all the creases and lines. It looks awesome
I was going to, but I picked this one up for $15 from a pick and pull, and the vinyl is still good. I am trying to keep the stock look
Post up a detailed pic and I'll keep my eyes peeled for at the JYs this weekend... yes JYs as in plural.. there are three prime yards within 50 miles of me.

Much appreciated.
I will get a pic up here in the next day or two. There are a bunch of JY's around me, but I can't drive myself anywhere (March is taking forever to get here), and my dad usually has to work on weekends.
Pretty sure I saw those in a super cab at the JY last week. Headliner was mint, I almost snagged it but I was toolless.
I'll check with you before my next trip.
Tool less!? I'd think that like the rest of us you'd be on a first name basis with the staff at all the yards within 50 miles of your house. THEY always have tools, and my local best friend ol buddy ol pal yard owner told me he was going to set me up a toolbox in his shop so I knew where everything was and would stop pestering him of course any scrap I haul in he gets for free for being Sooo good to me.. three trucks so far buys a lot of goodwill!
I used to carry the leatherman but the old one's would bite your hand when they slipped and after getting bit several times, I threw it as far as I could. I hear the newer one's are better now.
yes the newer ones are much better. i have two of them, one for a spare, and love them. they are the handiest things that i have ever had i do believe.
