I have a 76 F-100 with a new process 203 part time transfer case.
when ever i put any kind of load on it I get a horrible banging sound out of the transfer case. I have had it apart twice and can see nothing wrong. There is about 1/4 inch slack in the chain. Is that to much or am I missing something? Any help would be appreciated.
