In town, back & forth to work, 13 (at best) - but to qualify that, my trip work is only 3 miles (a tank lasts about 1 month)
We just traveled TX to NC & Back - on the way to NC we towed our 7k# TT and got 12, on the return not towing we got 17 the first 1/2 of the trip and 15 the 2nd 1/2 (30 mph head wind).
I also learned a valuable lesson... when towing, never let the tank get below 1/4 and when the low fuel light comes on... it's to f'ing late! Sat on the side of I10 for an hour waiting on roadside assistance
06 F350 auto 4x4 cc sb 3.73 275/70/18 tires. About 16.5 60% highway 40% rural. Best is 20 at 65-70 going to myrtle beach not towing. As low as 9 towing the Cruiser.
just took a 104 mile loop with my box stock early 03.at 101,000 miles i got14.4 city and 17.4 highway.i know have 213,500 on the old gal and she now gets 19.24 highway and 16.0 city. she,s finally getting broken in.
I have an '06 F350 4x4, 4 door long bed w/hypertech (stage 2), K&N intake. I get 20-24 highway and 16-17 city driving. I also pull a 32 foot travel trailer and get 13-14 highway. Now this is what my truck says. I have never done the manual calculations because I am afrade I will find it may be a bit lower.....I don't know. I am happy with what the truck says.
2004 F350 DRW 4x4 before EGR cooler replaced got 12.2 mpg
after the egr cooler was replaced get 13.4 avg . If I am empty easy on the gas, 55-60 mph has high as 17.2 highway. according the trip display on the truck.
16 - 17 around town and 17 - 18 highway. I've done better than 18 (19 - 21) on the highway but the conditions were perfect and not the norm. IE perfect temp, wind at my back and freshly cleaned and waxed rig.
I have an Excursion with 145,000 miles that gets 19 mpg on the highway and 24 mpg going uphill. I tow a 2012 Forest River 27' travel trailer year round and I get 13 mpg which increases to 14.5 when towing uphill. The more the turbo works the better my fuel mileage increases. I can drive 55 or 75 and my 19 mpg doesn't change. I've been so pleased with the 6.0L Powerstroke Turbo Diesel V-8 since purchasing it brand new. With the 5R110W transmission, it tows our travel trailer better than I could have imagined. It has the 3.73 rear end and I run BF Goodrich Commercial T/A tires. They get better fuel milage than the BF Goodrich T/A KO tires that I was using previously.
