That's great news Jasmin! And don't worry about your boy being too calm - I am the same way in emergency situations. People look to people like me for direction in such situations. While everyone is running around like an idiot, I'm the calm one making clear decisions. It's a good thing.

Pat I hate that. Happened to me before Christmas wasn't BEST. Going be stay home most time and go work ONLY for now. Try pay off loan on transmission. $2400 left to go.

Bad new for me AGAIN. Belle Tire say I need steering gear box BAD and need Right lower ball joint.

They quote me $719 to do these job. I told them no I will do myself for under $200.

The dad was doing *ok* he is being put under so he wont moove or try to pull out his tubes and stuff , again. They dont know the full damages done yet and if there was any Brain Damages.

Luke, might think of being EMT now after this. However the Boy cant stand Needles or his own Blood.

I can't stand my own blood either. That's why I try to keep as little blood in my alcohol system as possible. I mean if you cut me and beer comes out, how cool would that be!?

IT just nver ends, does it.

Just went and tried to figure out what it is going to cost me, as of now, 5575.00 to have it done here, 5525.00 if I drive down.

The 5525 does not include food or stay anywhere, but if I go there, Brian will go through every thing trans.. but if I dont make it, what the hell would it cost to get there.. arghhh..

Hey Pat - have you tried just changing the fluid? My tranny was acting goofy a few months ago on the 2-3 shift so I did the 2 five gallon bucket change the fluid using the cooling lines gig and it straightened right out. The cool thing is that you can drink beer while changing fluid! I've pulled my 12k camper many times since without any problems. Just an idea.

I think he drain WHOLE transmission and cooler then refill with fresh oil.

That what I did on 96 E350 15 seats it had lazy shift. After that. First time I shift it jump 2 feet with light on brake pedal. Who know new oil will make transmission like new.

No, I took two five gallon buckets, one of them clean! Get a couple of beers, put them in cooly cups and have them nearby. Pull the cooler lines, start truck for split second, figure out which one is output. Put a hose on that, and into the dirty bucket. Take a clean bucket and put a hose nipple in the bottom on the side, attach hose to other line (intake). Set bucket on radiator support, add a couple gallons of tranny fluid, have someone start the truck. (open and start drinking beer) The trans pump will draw in the clean fluid (gravity feed helps) and push out the bad. This will do the converter and everything. Watch the dirty bucket, make sure you keep fluid in the clean one, make sure the beer supply is still ok, and when you see clean fluid coming out of the output, shut the truck off and re-attach your lines. Tranny fluid is changed, you got to drink beer watching it flow, and you hardly got dirty!
