Wheel Bolt pattern
Hi

I am currently shopping for used winter tire, I have a 1978 F100, 300 I6, 133 wheel base..

there is all kind of add for tire with rim from all kind of Ford truck.

Does anyone know, if the basic bolt pattern has ever changed on a ford.

Example, a 1996 f150, will the wheel fit on my 1978.

The Ford F100 and F150 (up to 1996), 95% of the time use the ran the 5-5.5" bolt pattern. There were a few that had the 5-4.5" bolt pattern, but they are not real common.

If I remember right the 5x4.5 bolt pattern was only on 80-82 F-100s. NumberDummy knows for which years it is.
