I would bet I'm still at 20/15, but my astigmatism in my right eye is still present and worse at night. I've never gotten rid of the halo/star effect at night. It was supposed to go away after about 6 months. It was always there before, so I'm sort of used to it.
I am not sure what my visual accuity was. I know that my prescription was -5.25 in one eye and -4.75 in the other. I have some halo effect at night and right now I still have some hazing. It has only been 4 days since I had the procedure done though.

Rain makes ground faults.

Well ... I called on the transmission over in Mondovi. I was so hopeful that they would have some more information for me. All it says is "recent rebuild." All they knew is that it had a rebuild sticker on it.

As far as I'm concerned, it's only slightly better than used without any more information.

Back to the drawing board.

There is a transmission pretty close to here for $950. I called but they won't separate the torque converter from the tranny. The schemer in me says get the tranny, put the TC on my truck and sell the rest. Seems like a lot of work for what is likely a temporary fix.

I'm going to rebuild it eventually. I was just looking for a cheap and easy way to get it back on the road. We are hoping to start working on my Grandmother's house soon and need the truck to haul boxes and materials.

Take the money you would throw away at a used transmission and buy a rebuild kit, ATF and a case of Mt. Dew. Call the MN Chapter of FTE.

Problem solved.

I agree Chris. Buying a used one is a crap shoot at best.

I was only looking for a used TC to get it back on the road REALLY quick and REALLY cheap. I already have a used tranny.

100% agree. Even a used TC would be a crap shoot at best. It was just an idea for a REALLY cheap way to get by for short term.
