So, after further review, my sled(engine) is most likely junk............................. of course.............
Either looking for a different engine or parting it out.............. probably.
Have to rebuild the engine it looks like, probably $450 including gaskets, pistons, rings and one cylinder(used), so far.......................... And I haven't even disassembled the engine yet If it needs crank work

Yeah, 2 of the cylinders look OK, maybe a hone job to clean them up, but the Mag cylinder obviously ingested something.
I MAY have found a parts sled, so it might not all be lost. If I can get a good cylinder off it that would work for me. I'll just but a rebuild kit then, about $330 for everything. Then part out the parts sled to recoup some of the costs........

No way! I just sunk a bunch of money and Daves time into rebuilding the trailer I have. haha
That is a real bummer Mike. Lots of parts sleds out there though. There is a place in Victoria and another place in Clearwater that part out sleds. Maybe just get the one cylinder you need. That has to be cheaper.

Found a complete machine, now to get it CHEAP!!! I can then sell the parts off it to offset the costs. I'll make a few calls on some parts close to home too, might just end up with a different cylinder(or 3). Haven't looked at the exhaust sides yet...........
My only hang up is in hoping the crank bearings are still OK.
Good to hear Christmas went well ,aside from a little puke. At least it was from a kid......
Good night, that is usually the worst part(clean up)
