Jim, I was the first of the group to own it. I made it wider to hold the newer sleds. Tom and Mike made it pretty and put the new top on it.
Doing good here also! Got big plans for New Years? Maybe come see all of us at Jay's...............

Good to hear all went OK at the funeral, as well as they can anyway. Condolences to you , Lynn and the family of the deceased.

Have fun at the family Christmas, must mean everyone is feeling better.

So, after further review, my sled(engine) is most likely junk............................. of course.............

Either looking for a different engine or parting it out.............. probably.

Have to rebuild the engine it looks like, probably $450 including gaskets, pistons, rings and one cylinder(used), so far.......................... And I haven't even disassembled the engine yet If it needs crank work

Yeah Mike from those pics it doesn't look real good. That sucks. Hopefully you can get some decent money parting it out.

Hi Troy.

Yeah, 2 of the cylinders look OK, maybe a hone job to clean them up, but the Mag cylinder obviously ingested something.

I MAY have found a parts sled, so it might not all be lost. If I can get a good cylinder off it that would work for me. I'll just but a rebuild kit then, about $330 for everything. Then part out the parts sled to recoup some of the costs........

Don't forget about me. I have a '95 XCR that I could use parts for.

No way! I just sunk a bunch of money and Daves time into rebuilding the trailer I have. haha

That is a real bummer Mike. Lots of parts sleds out there though. There is a place in Victoria and another place in Clearwater that part out sleds. Maybe just get the one cylinder you need. That has to be cheaper.

Oh, and Christmas went well. It got late for Allie so she got kinda cranky but not bad considering she barfed once during dinner. Still not 100%.

I am searching now.

Found a complete machine, now to get it CHEAP!!! I can then sell the parts off it to offset the costs. I'll make a few calls on some parts close to home too, might just end up with a different cylinder(or 3). Haven't looked at the exhaust sides yet...........

My only hang up is in hoping the crank bearings are still OK.
