Why not simply use carpet or vinyl?

I use charcoal gray carpet from ebay on my boxes. Matches my 2 tone seats great.

I also built a center console for my bronco. I wrapped it in black vinyl, and it looks great.

I thought about wraping it but my interior is like a gray blue and the carpertinging i think would look weird with a center console but i think the undercoating would look diffrent and make it unique and look great too

I've used 3M spray glue in the past, the kind you use for headliners. Pretty much any spray adhesive like that.

Depends...But some Permatex Spray Adhesive, and credit card/block of wood will do nicely.....Maybe some staples around the edges...

I would put some batting under the fabric to make it softer, a little more like your seats. just spray the batting on, then the fabric after. A better way to attach is staples or something like that under the box. you get a tighter wrap doing this.

While ya got the right idea that sub with any real power pushing it is going to blow that box apart in minutes, joints are not tight and see nary a sign of glue used?

Gotta ask, what did you use to cut the parts with?

If you don't have a table saw or like tool places like Lowe's or Home Depot will do your cut list for you with a panel saw cheap especially if you buy the material there.
Its set up ready to go right there in the store and will make your parts all fit tightly together, use glue when assembling the box few brads acting as "clamps", glue will do the job once setup allowed dry overnight.

The glue will do two things for you seal it "sound tight" and insure it can handle the bass pounding on it day in day out.

For securing carpet I'd use a multi purpose flooring adhesive (its cheap in a gal bucket) apply with a 1/16"x1/16" V-notch trowel to spread it evenly over box.

Use a few staples to stretch and hold carpet tight and use strategically placed pieces of scrap board weighted down press carpet flat until glue dries to insure you get nice sharp outside corners.
