It could have been much worse, I am ALIVE, and the alternative to that sucks.

Stang: the hospital here is about as worthless as hospitals get, and they want me to see an orthopedic surgeon, which is respectable, but the triage did little to nothing for bracing my leg.

Randy, sometime here soon, I need to run out that way. Dallas is going to let me cut the dash out of one of his trucks. I was hoping I'd get a plasma cutter from Santa to help with that.

 

No problem. I am certainly no doctor and whatever I say is a guess based on what I've seen others go through. Hope it all works out.

 

I know man, but I still appreciate it, like I said before, its more for motivation, losing my mobility is really getting to me.

I'd be going stir crazy too...especially with no mobility, I'm always on the go somewhere...

 

Carolina: You will be able to drive in a couple weeks. I had major reconstructive surgery on my right leg (the bone was cut completely through below the knee) when I was 13-14. I got an old dodge pickup for Christmas only a few weeks after my surgery, and you bet your ******* I drove that truck all over creation the day I got it. Pushing the gas pedal puts more strain than pushing the clutch. I wouldn't be too bummed out about it man, I have plenty of stupid injuries I could tell you to make you feel better

 

Howdy Brandon! Did Santa bring you any goodies for Christmas??

 

You bet I got those nerf-bars for my pickup, and my mom is going to get the windshield replaced for me, a case for my laptop, and a custom car cover for my 74 chevelle malibu-classic. I made out like a bandit this year

 

Good to hear bud! Didn't get my plasma cutter like I was hoping, but I got a bunch of tool that I needed.

 

We aren't done yet. Still have 2 more Christmases to go to. One for my mom, brother and me this Friday, and then one for my dad's side of the family on Saturday.
