Afternoon guys... survived a last minute trip to the shopping center near the mall. Had to get a head phone splitter and car plug for the iPad so the kids are entertained on the trip.

Yep Chandler, that is the plan. Unfortunately, the girls think with all the space in the CX9 they can bring even more junk along... As usual, I'll be lucky if there is even room for me in the driver's seat.

Fortunately I cannot relate. I have a wife that packs pretty light, for a woman. There are times where my clothes take up more space than hers.

At home its a little the opposite though. She uses our entire 3rd bedroom as a closet, yet she still "cannot find anything to wear". Where's the logic in that?

Chandler, you're one of the few lucky ones. My wife packs everything on our trips. Now you know why I have a crewcab longbed.....

Yeah Pat I think I am kinda lucky in that regard.
Thinking back on it...I bought the truck for MY crap, not hers. My hunting bag is 42"w x 30"d x 18"t and when fully loaded comes in near 100lbs. It along with 2 gun cases, a cooler, and my tackle box full of shooting and cleaning necessities nearly takes up the bed alone.

Before we had my daughter, we'd take the boys on vacation, in the wife's Expedition, and have that damn thing packed to the roof. Took it once when my daughter was little, with a rooftop carrier, and it was still packed inside. We fill Black almost all the way up on our vacations now, and I usually just have one medium bag!!

My wife isn't too bad with packing clothes, it's all the other stuff that she needs to take... work projects, paperwork, stuff that she's saved to pass on to other family members.

I've instituted the airline "1 carry-on bag" rule for the kids, but they usually sneak additional stuff anyway.

Who me? Um, that's not mine officer, don't know how it got in there!

When I left for work this morning, my nine year old had already put a pile of books and papers, and a huge box of markers/crayons in the back seat of the car.
