I recently (couple of month ago) took off my Lund visor only to find that a few of the screw holes have stripped themselves and are larger than the screws themselves. At the time I just fille the holes with silicone and put the screws back in. Now I am looking at a permanent fix on the roof.
My question is, if I have the holes welded up, will I be able to put the visor back on? Is there a better way to put the visor on, mabye weld studs to the where the holes where and put nuts on? Has anyone ever run into this problem.
