Ok so i have a 96 psd and the other day i noticed when i turn the wheel right at all my engine get a rough idle? almost like a grinding. but when going left nothing. it sounds really bad like i have no oil and my bearing in my motor are shot. but it only happens occasionally. has any one had this issue before??? its really worrying me cuz i love this truck and its my daily driver. so any input would be awesome. thanks

Did you put a larger downpipe in off the turbo? Mine gets moved around once in awhile and when I turn right it makes a rubbing grinding noice.

Mechanically, i dont see how it could be something bad or damaging if it were the dp...but that wouldnt cause a rough idle.

Is it possible that it isn't actually idling rough, but just sounds that way as it transmits that vibration through the firewall when the DP touches?

My truck does that too. i found out it was the DP vibrating aganist the firewall. Took the DP off and beat some more room for it and noise went away.
