So i updated my factory radio to a Pioneer 64-BT unit. pretty sweet. except within minutes the front speakers blew and the rears on are there last legs. i know the fronts in my 94 are 6.5 inch but ive heard the rears are 5x7's and then i heard there 6x8's..... the brand of speaker i want doesn't offer a 5x7 but they do have a 6x8....... but which is it or are they somehow interchangeable?
Least you guys can find out what you have without opening the panels, my doors are from a 96 but the po modified them so i get to tear my door apart to find out...
lol no cup holders for this guy...... an thats really my number one B*%CH about these trucks is the lack of cup holders..... i hate holdin my dag gum spitter between my legs while drivin tryin to steer shift an all that while not spillin the dang thing. my buddy got nifty thing he welded up back in school for a cup holder i might make me a cup holder when i get bored one a these weekends
Well looks like some guys here pamper them self with fancy radios and cup holders...
we can be old school and still have a few extra's.
tunes and coffee just go well together with work.
if it makes ya feel better though, the seat is from my old truck and is gray,so it's not completely sissified.......yet.
Only vehicle I have now with cup holders is the motorhome! lol
F150, and 1999 Buick Century has no cup holders, and both original radios, tapes
The diesel did have a cup holder tho. My dad couldn't live without his morning cup of coffee while driving to work before either. But that thing is coming off fir sure, I really don't need a cup holder, only thing I ever drink in any vehicle is water bottles.
I sure ain't running out of old school tunage any time soon
Now all i'm missing is the base AM only radio of this era
