Changing screen names?

What happens to your old posts and post count if you have over 100 posts? I was going to change my name and was told I could change it after becoming a supporter. I gave my new name to lamkint and joined, well worth it! I might add, but it never changed. I must have done something wrong....Still curious. Thanks!

if you only have 100 posts, it is not really worth it. now if you have 20,000 posts, and want to change your name from silverF150 to bobstoys after selling your silver f150, that is worth keeping posts.
