Front drive shaft

On my 1976 F250 Highboy When in two wheel drive the front drive shaft still spins. The hubs are unlocked and its in 2H. If you have any suggestions or know why it does it please feel free to let me know.. Thanks.

If you can spin it by hand in 2h it shouldnt be locked in.

Yea. In 2H it should spin while driving.. but it does.

Fluid dynamics. Your t-case is spinning the oil around inside, which causes the front DS to spin. The colder the fluid, the faster it will spin. Once the fluid gets pretty warm, the oil will thin out and it won't spin.
