ok guys i just got my hands on a pretty neat little project. its a 1986 f350 crewcab that was stretched with another set of doors and then a supercab on that. i know everyone has seen that done but then it has enough frame for a 10' bed and it has a tandem rear axle setup on it with airbags. pretty sweet. it is done body wise but needs interior finished and the wiring for the ol 6.9 which is what my question is about, i have all the wiring harnesses but dont know where to start. basically want to get it started first and go from there, thanks in advance
What state are the electrics in now? Are the wiring harnesses in the truck, or is all the wiring disconnected & loose?
Basically, if you have 12V to the fuel shut-off solenoid on the injection pump, and can turn the motor over, it should run...
4 door, extended cab, 10' bed and tandem axles..... for some reason the old tune "Gimme 40 acres" seems to come to mind Good luck with thne project and Post some pictures!!!!!!!
Is it 4 door or 6 door, a crewcab stretched with another set of doors and an extended cab would be a six door.
I made a deal on a six door long bed stroke a few years ago, even put money down on it, but backed out in the end. the guy told me that the turning radius and parking with it was a bear, but I never even went down and drove it. lol
It was just one of my brighter ideas to get rid of a couple grand. lol
