Well, about a month ago we bought an 06 F550 Picker Truck for work. Everything was fine until yesterday when it abruptly died on the road. Pulled the codes its showing low injector oil pressure. So we decided to do the STC, IPR and all the other usual stuff. Then it came to disconnecting the Y-pipe. WTF!!!!! Anyone have any idea how to get it off? Didn't have any problem like this on my F350, but I got no clue on how to get a wrench onto the nuts where the pipe connects to the exhaust manifolds? There just appears to be no room.
Thanks m-chan68. I've done them before and know the sizes, but I can't get clearance to get the 13 mm up on top of the second (rear) stud on the drivers side. I don't recall it on my F350, but on this truck there appears to be a square block with a big bolt through it coming off of the back of the head, and that is in the way. Any suggestions?
