I have an 03 F250 with 8" BDS lift. It has a 5.4l in it and this is the specs on my wheel. Im currently running 37x13.5 and looking to go bigger. My tire choice is going to be the Toyo mt but concerned whether or not the 38x15 will rub the leaf springs at full turn. Anybody able to help me out because I need new tires soon mine are quite bald <table width="100%" border="1" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="1"><tbody><tr class="tableInfo" height="26"><td align="center">16x10</td> <td> 8x170</td> <td align="center">-25</td> <td align="center">4.52</td> <td> 130.8</td></tr></tbody></table>
Ok well I bought the tires and put them on and they dont rub so i got away lucky. Can anyone running Toyo MT's 38x15 tell me what air pressure they are running? Im currently running 45psi
Crongrats on the new meats! I would start off with doing a contac test to see how the tire is riding on the ground. I run more psi up front than the rear cause the front is obviously heavier. While towing I will add air to compensate. Toy with it using the little nipples that stick out of the tread on the new tires, thats what I used to help notice how the tires were wearing. I noticed when I ran too much air in the rear, they were balooning out and wearing more in the center of the tread. I may be wrong in my approach but its what I did.
