Trailer Wiring Relay Problem
I own a 99 250SD w/5.4. The relay box next to the power dist. box that all this time I assumed was for the trailer wiring is actually for the ESOF. So, my question is where is the relay box for my trailer wiring. I see a bracket that might hold it, but no box or even a empty wiring harness that it might plug into. I thought all the SD's came prewired for the seven pin trailer plug. All seven wires are present in the rear harness by the bumper. Any suggestions? Thank you.

Check your manual and your fuse panel.
In the 99 year the trailer package was an option on the gassers. I believe Ford changed that in 01'. The trailer package came std on the powerstrokes.
