I agree. I can remove the Ford logo and spell out the FTE. What can we use to fill the Florida map that would represent our chapter? We can brain pick the members for Ideas.

Sounds good. Sounds like alot to put in a pan handle but I like it. More Ideas are welcome and will help in the design process.

https://www.ford-trucks.com/n is a free website for Ford truckers. The site has State chapters that new ford truck owners join to socialise and form discussions about their trucks with other members according to their state. (I'm a member of the Florida chapter Member ID 809Taino).

Some chapter have decals that they put on their trucks to show their chapter pride. I'm a self made graphic designer and when I saw the need from other Florida members for a Florida chapter decal so I took the initiative to help the group have a decal they can be proud to put on their Ford trucks. The logo I designed is simple. (See attachment)



If approved we intend to make decals(stickers) for the members, The decals will encourage other Ford truck owners to possibly join our chapter or encourage non Ford owners to join the great Ford movement while at the same time showing our Ford Florida chapter pride. In a sense we will be promoting the ford brand and it's social elements. The cost to make these decals will be about $3-$4 and only members who request them will receive them. The cost will include materials and shipping. If the logo is approved by you we'll also intend on making t-shirts for group meetings. The T-shirt Idea is still up in the air but if all goes well we will also request permission when the time comes.

If they approve, great. If not we'll go with our own design and run it thru FTE for approval and call it a day.

 

I havent heared from Ford yet. I decided to wait till monday the 19th. At this point we will begin our assessment of ideas for our Florida badge. We encourage all members to put in their Ideas for a new design. The badges will represent our Florida chapter and will be made into a small 3x3 decal that you can place on your back window to display your membership to this exclusive club. If enough Ideas are gathered, I will take on the honorable chalenge of creating a one of a kind design for our group. I will be making 5 different designs that we will be able to choose from. We will run a pole and I will include the option to go back to the drawing table wich I will gladly do in order to collaboratively have our finish product. As you can see, I have a design bug but I am open to any other artist that would like to be part of this group project.

I will be giving the badges away free at charge to new members with 100 posts on the Florida chapter. Senior Florida members with more than 500 posts will get hem also.

I'm curious about the downturned upper right corner. Is that just for looks or does it have significance somewhere?

 

It's a sign that it's a sticker.. Gives the illusion that you can just pull it out of your screen and stick it on your back window.

 

I really like it as it is with the Ford Logo. However in my opinion I say just drop the ford logo. Keep everything in house with the FTE logo inside the state pic. Either way if approved I would love to get one. Good work and keep it up..
