Tymar installed...Question??
Finished the install of my Tymar air filter. Everything went fairly smoothly after i finally got the assembly situated properly. Question........The intercooler pipe just Barely touches the tymar pipe and I'm wondering if this is going to create any problems???I manipulated the pipes in several directions but it just seems too come back to the same position. Anybody else have this same situation????...fd

You need to make sure nothing touches the aluminum pipes, you will have a hole wore into it in no time.
You might take a piece of radiator hose and clamp it over the pipe in that area.

Thanks allan. I tried leaving the clamps loose but when i tightened them back up it was the same thing. I won't be driving as the engine won't Start and I've to get it hauled too the dealer at some point. Will find an old piece of radiator hose and interpose the Hose between where they touch . I posted this question in the Super duty forum and realized that it should have been here. Tried to delete it from the superduty forum but it wouldn't let me into the edit function. thanks for your help.....fd
