So I am about to go buy a nice 2005 Excursion tomorrow but the only thing holding me back is the rear seats. It doesn't have the middle bench seat, but two individual "captains" chairs. Normally I wouldn't care, but I have two great danes and would like the full bench seat to help separate us and them. My question is..
1) Does the standard bench seat use the same mounting holes as the individual seats and
2) Would anyone be willing to trade? They are tan leather ones so I would be looking for a tan leather bench seat..
One of the reasons I bought my ex was BC of my two dogs, great Dane/st. Bernard cross, only gotta figure out how to get my big male in and out easier, 5 inch lift, 35's, and a 170 pound dog, you do the math lol, sorry to go of topic, you could go with any color seat and seat cover it, your gonna want to any ways BC they will have there heads over the back of the seats, head out the window, drool everywhere trust me.
Yeah Dennis my older boy is 5 years old and 210 lbs.. my wife wouldn't let me buy a lifted Excursion because he already has trouble jumping in and out of our F-150 Supercrew with a 3" lift. I looked at all the doggy ramps but even the best one was only rated at 150 lbs and by older boy is pretty...wide. lol
Anyhow, bought the Excursion. These are the back seats..
I did find a ramp for 250 or 300, I'll see if I can get the girl friend to get me the info on it for ya, it's on our Christmas list for the parents actually. The hill works til then!
