I need to get new catalytic converters and I was wondering what type of cats I need for a 1977 ranchero with a 400m i am in california so the requirements are by no means laxed.
i was looking at the 6000 series from catco will 2 of them work? i am hoping for dual exhaust, they say they are good for up to 5.9 so would two work well enough for a 6.6?
The best thing to do is contact the manufacturer. There may be something specific you'll need to do to keep them legal and working efficiently.
There are several cat manufacturers out there, call around and find one that gives the best flow and will be CA legal. Then ask about any particulars involved in hooking them up.
