Pull the trigger?

So Ive been shopping and shopping.

I found a Adobe Gold XLT S-crew 4x4, MSRP 38,500(ish) and I got em talked down to 29,500 if financed through ford.

3.55 LSD, Tow and Convinence packages are the only options. (which i would prefer less options)

Im also trying to trade my exploder in for 3000. I know i'm pushing the salesmen pretty hard because he said to seal the deal he would have to go to the owner directly.

what do you all think?

I could get this thing for 26,500 difference. Might be hard pressed to do better until this time next year, at which point my trade would be 2000 tops ....

i got the hammer cocked, just gotta decide tomorrow if im pullin the trigger or not ....

opinions?

I think this sounds like typical saleslier spiel.

I suppose this is possible; however, the best i have been able to do in any previous negotiation is $2000 maaaaaybe $2500.

I'm thinking it is all for not anyway ... the CFO and I are not at the same excitement level about the deal, if you catch what i'm saying.

and as far as the color goes .... i suppose i just like it because it matches the gravel dust that constantly resides on all of my vehicles.

but yeah ... i kinda feel like i'm 34 going on 60.

I would wait until this weekend. They will want to move these trucks this weekend. I got mine on thanksgiving weekend a few years ago. They threw in a 3 year maintenance with the big discounts. Try to get them to give you at least a couple years of maintenance, just oil changes but it's nice to walk in and walk out during services without paying a dime.

Which engine does she have? Being a 4x4 XLT it can only be one of two I suppose.

What's the interest rate from Ford credit? Don't settle on the rate, negotiate if it's above 1.9%.

Anyway, I say go for it! But, you won't have to wait for another year to get a great deal. I got a great deal in June.

Good luck bro and let us know.
