tranny wont shift
have an 01 superduty psd with only 30,000 on it. Keep up with all scheduled service and just had the tranny fluid change at the ford dealership appox 1500 miles ago. My question: today I stopped at a red light when it turned green went to pull away a the truck sort of stuttered between first and second gear. My next stop sign was just a short distance away(less than a block), when I went to pull away from that stop sign it wont shift into second unless I back of the throttle. Tranny fluid is full. I got reverse, it drops into first without hesitation. Just wont go into second and so on without backing off the gas. I know its under warranty and will make appointment just wanted to here if any others have heard about this. 2001 psd 3.73rearend automatic, just turned over 30,000 miles. Hopefully its just something electronic.

TRANS ISSUES
[FONT=Georgia]Mine did that before. I would have to rev the engine real high and try to get enough speed to let go of the throttle and try to get the truck to bypass 2nd and go directly go to 3rd. It ended up being my torque converter taking a crap and spewing metal all through my trans taking out 2nd. But my truck has ALWAYS gotten me to where I needed to be, even with a repo on the back.
