turbo swap

To add a turbo engine to a non turbo '95 XLT 5spd 2.3 L. Ranger,
would I have to change the computer? What all is involved?
Is this more of a hassel with less results, or a good idea?

turbo swap

sorry i cant give the most tech oriented answer, but assuming the turbo will fit and all that:

Changing the chip would help, becuase there is only some much if any change in power the stock chip could give.. DOn't know about the fuel pump, and coil pack... some things may be need to beef up depending what what you are looking to do.

Also you would most likely want to look into getting induction of some kind (depending on what kind of driving your doing) and a freer flowing exhaust.. Everything basicaly works together to give you more power.. Personally i would save the chip for the last thing you do.. but if you only want turbo then go with the chip...

good luck with it!
