Lift kit for my F150 4x4

What kind of lift kit would you recommend that does not require a major wheel alignment or a new drive shaft?

Was looking at a 2 or 3" kit?

Brand names that you have found to work the best!

Thanks

What year is your F150?

Any "lift" or leveling kit is going to require an alignment, even a small 1" spacer will have the angles off just slightly under weight.
Look for leveling kits from:
Daystar
Readylift
HellBentSteel
Autospring
Strut combinations are available from Bilstein and Rancho as well.

Good question on year, here is a video of the (relative) ease of installing our quickLIFT LOADED. I say relative as it is easy in a garage/driveway but right now where I live it is about 30 degrees and I wouldn't want to do this right now.

Rancho makes a quality product... So does Superlift and a few others. Stay away from Cheap lifts such as Pro-comp and Fabtch. The hardware is notoriously chinsy- fine for looks but any actual off roading capability gained by the extra height is negated by the week links of those kits.

Great info thanks, is one brand better than the other? Is a steel, aluminum or nylon preferred or longer lasting?

How about a 3" Performance Accesories bodylift? No alignment or driveshaft issues. Performance Accessories 70093 - Performance Accessories Body Lift Kits - Overview - SummitRacing.com I'm still kicking this around since this truck is the lowest one I've owned since high school
