I have broken 3 tranny mounts the last times I towed a heavy load. If I'm not towing its fine.
The first mount I bought was a advance auto part special. When that one broke I though it was just a cheap part. So next I went to a little better quality from Napa. That one broke within 200 miles of towing, so I got a OEM replacement from ford. That one broke after 20 miles of towing. When the mount from ford broke I was taking off from a stop, accelerating up a steep incline towing close to 18,000 lbs.
The only thing I can think of to cause this would be bad motor mounts. I checked them and seem to be good, but I know there is something else causing these to break so quickly.
