Overheat while towing
I made a long haul with towing my mudtruck this weekend. About 200 miles one way. On the way there my truck did fine but it was about 60* outside and at night. On the way back if I kept it @55 i was fine, if I pushed it to 60 my engine temp gauge would start rising quickly until i let off the throttle and then it would start to drop within about 45-90 seconds. It was about 85-90* outside and in the middle of day. I was towing close to 18,000lbs. Any ideas?
