As of now, before everything times out, the windows work with no keys or even if the doors open with no keys...
My L99 had p/s window problems years ago. Tore panel off and found that the window severed the wiring.

 

I'm having the same problem with my 2002 excursion 7.3. I believe the part numbers are different for the VSM between the F-250's and the excursions. does anyone know the P/N for the excursion? or a compatible year or model I could steal one from?

 

im having all the symptoms as described in this thread, ‘02 Ex V10 4wd.

i too am seeing about 3 different part numbers for the VSM online.

Does anybody know the exact part number i need.

 

what was your truck model and is thrre anyway you could post up the part number for the vsm that you hsd installed?

cant speak for biggie but, i had same situation.
The vsm is located above the trans hump, against the firewall just below the radio. Black box with 3 connectors to it. Held by, i think 4-13mm.
Getn the p/n off it, i went to FORD and bought the unit. Then made an appt to get it programmed. 15min job. Rolled into FORD with everything tore apart so it was just plug/play and i did the work of reinstalling it...think all together was just over 300.xx
