New DTCs

96 5.8 bronco E4OD tranny. Replacement engine (18 months ago and the
truck sees very little road time). Not even 1000 miles a year.

Got 4 trouble codes recently, but one was older that I never took care of
(P0141) I think this O2 sensor got oily and I never got around to cleaning it.

Latest three DTCs are.

P0155
P0135
and
P1506

Could the last two O2 sensor (P0155 and P0135) be related to the P1506?

I plan to check the IAC and look for vacuum leaks in the morning.

Any other areas I need to check?

BTW which is BANK 1? BANK 2?

P0141 and P0135 are gone.

I unplugged the IAC while engine running and the idle did not drop.
I also cleaned the IAC and high idle remains.
NO air leaks detected, could this IAC have failed?

As for P0155, is this the driver side HO2 sensor?

Telling you the "heater" in both 02 sensors (with "P0141" I missed in there that be three 02 sensors) are not functioning (blown fuse?) and it suffered/suffering from a Idle Air Control Overspeed Error.

Might be as simple as the IAC is bad or you might be sucking air someplace.

Bank one is passenger side, bank two is drivers side. Senor one is closest to the engine if more then one each side.

How many does your truck actually have?

I did a test on my F150, I unplugged the IAC and the truck died immediately.

I unplugged the IAC on the Bronco(truck in this thread) and the truck continued to run.

I guess the IAC is bad.

I have 3 O2 sensors on the Bronco, I plan to fix IAC before chasing sensor issues. Only the P0155 remains (bank 2 sensor 1)

If you had a vac leak rather then a IAC problem causing high uncontrolled idle speed, unplugging a fully functioning IAC wouldn't make any difference.

So you went from all three 02 sensors reporting heating circuit issues down to one with no change made?

Tends suggest bad connection/s someplace.

Odds all three of them would die, the heater burn out in all of them at same time? it be rather slim.

Well, I have been putting off fixing the Bronco until today.

I have been driving my F150 around on a bad MAF sensor
Until today. It felt like the tranny was slipping, but we limpped home in
The F150 and pulled some codes.

P0174
P0171
P0102

I think the MAF is finally calling it quits. I'll get it going next
Week.

Back to the Bronco, we stopped on the way home to pick
Up a new IAC. The new IAC solved the high idle condition.
Now I need to replace/check O2 sensor - P0155 bank 2sensor 1,
To finally clear CEL.
