oil pump 6.9

I was wondering if anyone knows, if a melling m165 will work on a pre powerstroke it says for 92-94 but looks the same as my pump 85 6.9 Thanks

Be very careful using that pump, these engines dont wear out oil pumps like gas engines. I have a melling in mine and will be putting the IH pump back in soon.
The clearances on the mellings have gone to hell in the last few years. Miine had very excessive endplay ,Ihad to remachine it before installation.
