But thanks for the advice I'll keep that in mind
Which is completely irrelevent with the uncalled for response which i originally posted about. With that comment, you completely spit in the face of someone who is just trying to help you. Get over yourself and BE RESPECTFUL. END OF STORY.

Prove us wrong and Git-r-done.

This would probably work out for ya if you had a spare set of injectors to work on, but I couldn't imagine taring out my injectors from a DD truck and trying this myself. Everyones situation is different, maybe you have a normal DD and this truck is for fun.

Either way, have fun. Take pics and post em back here for us
Yeah planning on purchasing a complete motor Next week so yeah I'll have an extra set. So I figured since this is about the only thing I haven't done with regards to an internal combustion engine why not. I mean if I screw it up then oh well. It's just time and money. Good thing the HP is loaded with Ink

Rabbit >> Thats it. Now to move on. A long time ago we used to rebuild the injectors. I tryed a few times. They ran for a while, but never held up. I only buy the ones that have been tested. Most of the supplyers are no longer. They had to many issuses and stopped selling rebuild kits. If anyone knows of a supplier, they will post for you. Have a great day

Man I tried looking for the parts to do a DIY kit for almost a year and could never find it all. Hell it bugged Jim so bad he put a message on his site saying not to ask him about a DIY kit as they no longer are selling them

Yeah saw that on his site. So far I've found the barrel, spring and plunger assembley as well as the nozzel tips but have yet to find out if the the nozzles come with the corresponding needle. But the search goes on

That doesn't sound like very many parts you've found.

I've helped a guy diagnose a no-start after he rebuilt a truck from the ground up (and did a very impressive job). Turns out his DIY injectors were a little off. He stuck in some used injectors he had from a spare motor and it fired right up.

Good luck with your attempt. It's apparently more difficult than it appears.

I would like to add to Daniel's statement that we also get the job done helping each other. Just a fun way of doing it. I'm on this other forum about this automatic mobile Motosat satellite dish I have on my camper. Its a real complicated device and I need help every once in awhile. That's the driest, coldest no fun forum I've ever seen. I try to lighten it up with a LOL or something and nothing. Boring!!
