300 upgrades
Hey guys I have had my 1989 F-150 w/ a trusty 300.. The truck has a 5 speed and I was wanting too doo a little bit of upgrades.. I was wanting too start w/ a K&N FIPK... do ya'll recommend this or is there anther company that makes something like K&N or something that is better... I want ya'lls input.. alsoo I was thinking of gears.. I have a 3.08 I was thinking like 3.55 or soo... and ignition.. I have noo clue on that one... I already had the muffler cut off and dual pipes ran out the back.. If ya'll could enlighten me I would greatly apperciate it.. This is me 2nd 300 but this is the first time upgrading one.. only had the first one 2 weeks b4 got hit in rear... Soo hopefully if ya'll that have done all this before could help me I would really apperciate it thanks a whole lot..

300 upgrades
K&N would be good, 3.55's good, not bigger than 3.73, Ignition leave it alone if you plan on keeping the motor relativity stock. There is a company called Clifford Performance that does a lot of work with the I-6's, look them up, and see what you think. Just my .02, hope this helps and good luck.
