I read all of the posts and the TSB and watched all the videos. They are all correct, those suckers break. 2005 F150 5.4 with 85.000 miles. Started on the drivers side and the front two broke Got them out with the Lisle Tool, works great. Gave up for the day after I put in two one piece Champions. I had flooded the plug holes with Sea foam Creep before I started and let it sit for a couple hours. Since I had all the COPS off I flooded the back to holes with Creep and gave each a slight twist with the plug socket. Next day (today) I came home from work early and removed the back two drivers side plugs in one piece. The first one creaked and made cracking noises all the way out. The back plug came out without a sound. Installed two more Champion plugs, reinstalled the COPS and it fired right up.
Now, to get the courage to try the passenger side. I know I will let them soak for at least a day with the hole full of Creep and a slight twist with the socket.
I am a lawyer. I may sue Ford just for my time, cost and trouble. No time for Class Action. In my youth, I filed several hundred successful lawsuits against the "Big Three" under our state Lemon Law.
Good luck with that. I broke 7 of 8 while following the TSB plus extra soak time and more intermediate rotations (twist litte, soak, etc). Used PB Blaster instead of Kroil; heard enough to think I will try that next time. Taking it slow, took about 12 hours of my time.
Edit: Installed MC SP515 plugs.

Reason: Plug type
2 out of 4 isn't a bad start but I can tell you I will stay motorcraft plugs when I change mine. Good luck if you decide to sue for your time and trouble and let us know how that turns out.
