misfire prob- @ Brick wall Help Please
Truck was running fine, I put 10 gallons of gas from can on boat in it ran fine for 20 25 miles. Nex morn rough idle and shimmering @ 35 40 mph. I thought gas ! Ran it out put in lucas and hi-test ran 30 40 miles no change. Engine light came on says p308 cyl h. I change plug and coil, no change... Take to mechanic he plays w/it hour or so and says cyl get too much fuel injector mus be stuck... Changes injector ,,, no change. 2 days later he now telling me computer bad...
I dont have a lot of faith in this diagnosis. Could junk have messed up fuel filter or somthing ??? I really dont want to change a computer and still have same prob. The timeing of the whole thing with the gas in can and everything makes me wonder how it could be puter...
