when in 4 high it keeps slipping out what might be the problem thanks.

hi my truck has 105 000 on it not much off road used more for winter driving 4.0l v6 4x4 fx4 good truck . when driving down the road in 4 high every so often it sounds like it is disengaging or something because goes back into 4x4 it sounds like grinding but as bad .thank

Since you have auto hubs I wonder if the t-case shift motor is going bad.

It won't be cheap, it just depends on whats wrong with it.

Have you considered changing the Tcase fluid?
