Cleaning air conditioned seats??

Was just wondering if there is anything special i should know, or not to do it at all, about cleaning leather air conditioned seats in the 2011+ trucks? i was planning on just using meguiars leather conditioner like i always do, but will it harm these seats? Thank you!

Miles, you might want to try posting this in either the 6.7 or 6.2 forums. The '11 and '12 owners usually hang out in those two forums.

Or if you'd like, I can move this thread to one or both of them where it should get more attention. Just let me know.

Same as cleaning any other seat. Don't over apply treatment on the back end of the cleaning. Your owner's manual will say something like "clean with mild detergent and wipe with a damp rag."

Miles, I've moved your thread to the 6.7 forum for better response from the 2011 and 2012 owners. I also copied it into the 6.2 forum for more exposure from the same folks in that forum.

Thats a good question, I wonder if the leather cleaner/ conditioner would plug the ac /heater holes in the seat over time ?

Technically the seat surface with the holes for air flow is not leather. I use Motorcraft interior spot and stain remover. It works very well. Smells like alcohol. I stopped using leather treatment or conditioner a couple years ago. Unless you have a king ranch, your leather is not receptive to such products.
