Ranger engine swap info needed
I have an '85 Ranger that has a good body, a but bad engine. I would like to put a 2.2(?) diesel in it. Can anyone tell me which bellhousings will interchange on the Mazda/Bronco II/Rangers with 2.8 V6 & 4 cylinders? I have not been able to find any "what-will-fit-what" charts for Rangers on the internet.
BTW: I'm deployed to Afghanistan right now, so I can't just do any junkyarding to measure up parts.
