Remote 'led' for each seat-heater?
My wife's '04 Explorer has 2 indictors in the auto-temp controller which illuminate when either front seat's seat warmer is on.
I keep finding "someone" occasionally leaves the pass seat heater "on" after being a passenger. I've been wondering if there's a way to hook-up a wire to the seat heater switch/wire(s) so the 'led' will come on whenever the seat heater is on?
Thanks!

Amen Brother... want to do that too....
would help with the accidents caused by having to lean over and look down to see if it's on ....
and then when that "someone" complains about "Your side gets hotter than mine"
after I say something like "Glad you noticed sweetie !!!" lol
I ruin it by saying
Well, if YOUR side hadn't been on constantly for 5 years it would work too

Like u say - no documentation that I've seen...
and having had the 3 Ex's in my signature, I can tell you they each acted differently...
recall the 03 used to turn off after a bit cuz the wife would complain
now it's my turn since the 05 will stay on as long as -
even across shutdown and restart cycles...
Hmmm, but good question about controlling the temps ---
If we are adding another led in the mix, why not add an led with a dial resistor to control the temp?

Here is a link to the style LED I was thinking about. I don't think I want anything too big. The little one in this picture.
I'm not sure where I would install it. Seems like it would be nice to be able to see it from both front seats. I guess it could even be mounted in the center console. I'll probably test brightness before I mount them so they aren't anoying at night.

What a great idea. It seems like I'm always hitting that switch with my leg or something when I get in and turn it on.
On the other hand, my grandpa's '04 Mountaineer has a problem where the seat heaters, but especially the driver's one, won't shut off. That thing gets so hot, I could probably fry an egg on it. They love them, but if I have to take them anywhere, it's a problem to shut it off. I haven't taken it apart to figure it out, but I need to soon.
