The ST is rated at 250hp and 270 tq.
Actual wheels numbers based on tuners dyno baselines are around 230whp and 260wtq.

I've really wanted to get on my wifes escape to see how this thing moves. Its a complete night and day difference from her 2011 escape. I can't even imagine what it would do with a tune. lol

Escape SE 2.0

Traded my 2001 Escape last March for the 2013 Escape SE. Currently have 26,000 miles. Great power, very smooth and no problems to date. Tires are about 5-6/32's. Mostly get 26-27.5 miles per gallon. Can do 70-80 on Interstates all day, have never had to add oil and normally go 9-10,000 miles between changes. If this is the size car you need give the Escape a look.

I'm really happy with mine too, it's done amazing this winter, stock tires, handles great in the snow and ice. Zero issues so far, but we only got it last fall

our 2013 Escape 2.0 SEL is very nice.

I know we could get better fuel mileage...but....let's just say its hard.

looking at a digital gauge pod to watch our boost pressure...that might even be worse for our fuel mileage. :P

Shop thinks they might know but aren't completely certain what the issue is, and Ford warranty doesn't want to commit until they know what they are paying for... She was getting high 20's into low 30's on occasion. With this coming on though, I am afraid of what costs may be down the line if we have to stand this kind of repair on our own. I had that concern when it was bought though... We typically keep our vehicles until they can no longer be reliable. Her 02 Buick went almost 400,000 miles with no severe issues. What finally took it out was an aftermarket piece, those stupid plastic elbows from the intake to the alternator mount to the heater hoses...
I am aware of the age of this thread. What was the resolve on the above problem? What was the actual problem as decided by Ford? Ford pay or you pay?

Sorry for the lack of follow up. Ford warranty did cover it completely. the Edge is now at 184,000 miles with no issues for the most part.

I've got a Focus ST with a 2.0L turbo and 48k miles of "spirited" driving on it. It drives better today than when I bought it. It still makes me smile when I drive it. There is something wonderful about a 150 mph economy car. It was the deciding factor in purchasing the ecoboost F150.

I have the 2.0 EcoBoost in my Stage 3 tuned 2013 Focus ST and love it. The motor is a beast stock, but throw on a larger intercooler, turbo-back exhaust, intake, and a tune, and it really screams.

I keep throwing around the idea of selling my 7.3 Powerstroke for a EcoBoost F150, but, with rumors of the Focus RS coming out next year with the 2.3 EcoBoost, I might be selling my ST much sooner than planned for the RS and holding on to the 7.3 to keep the car payments at a reasonable level.

It's hard not going out and jumping on a 2014 F150 Ecoboost right now though with the sales they are running. There's a Sterling Gray XLT 4x4 SCAB SB with MaxTow, offroad package, leather, and HIDs on one of the local lots advertised for 33K right now that is very tempting...
