78 bucket seats
hey everyone just wondering how many of you have swapped out the bench seat and put in a couple of bucket style seats? i have a 78 reg cab and i really would like to get two seperate seats as opposed to the bench. if anyone has done it and could let me know the struggles and also if you have pics to see what they look liek it would be awesome, thanks.

i used high backs from an 86 bronco,used the stock bench seat tracks,made a square frame,bolted the seats to the frame done! now i have "double sider seats" to get into the back of my s/c check my pics should be something there

I know the search function isn't as helpful as we would like, but try searching "bucket seats" and see what pops up. People on here have used everything from 2005+ F150 seats to old Cadillac seats. You just have to do a little research (as painful as it is when you want a fast answer to a question). If you want a very nice example, try searching "1978 F250 Custom Interior" he did an amazing job.

On the bumpsides they (Bucket seats) were an option from the factory, looked like early Mustang seats, don't know if there were special brackets unique to the trucks or they used Mustang tracks as well.
