Window felt question (inner felt inside window)
I pulled off all the felt trims and the rivets that hold them in place.
-Top window felt (where the glass comes out of)
-Rubber where the glass sits (window trim)
I notice the inner window guides have felt on them as well. The rails that guide the windows up inside the door. How do I change them out?
Im hoping people dont say cut the door open

Go on a moderate diet to make your arms skinny and flexible......
Then remove the inspection panels from the door to remove the felt. It has a flex metal backing with a clip on the bottom. If I remember correctly, there may be a screw or clip at the top, just at the window opening in the door. Be careful with the inner door rails!
Pull the felt "U' out of the rail from the top down, then the bottom clip will release.
P.S. Sometimes some adhesive may have been used. I don't think that it was "factory"
