Poor guy lost his head and two legs over the deal..but dang near everything else was in good shape. It was still there Friday evening when we went through there again...the possums are going to be eating well for a while. And we'll be stack the possum kills up for a while in that area. Stupid things.
Since I've been married to a blonde for 15 years, I think I can get away with posting a little blonde humor....
Blonde orders a beer
Bartender fills the mug, slides it down the bar.
It hits the blonde's "chest" & splashes all over over them....
The bartender goes over, retrieves the mug & licks the beer off her chest.
Each time the blonde calls for a another beer this happens.
So after the 3rd beer, another guy at the bar decides to help the bartender out. The next time the bartender hits her "chest" the man jumps up and starts to lick the beer off.

Im still here. working, family stuff, helping out at the paintball field trying to sort out issues with my '94, trying to figure out what Im going to do with the small collection of paintball guns that keeps growing when I said a few months ago 2 was all that I needed & wanted, trying to sell my '82 F250 that I cant find a buyer for, some more random crap & the fact that if/when I do get on here I will spend a while just reading.
Good Morning Joe, I went hunting but I never saw a thing, hunting is lousy this year, too warm I guess.........
Since my friend lost his job at Cal-Maine, I lost access to all the nice fenced, isolated hunting spots out there...
I've only got one spot on my property that I could even think about putting a stand, and I went back there earlier this fall and bush hogged and cleaned up and its really not a great spot. There's 67/167 along backside at about 300yds or so.
Yeah, I know, probably not a big deal on a stand but I like to error on the side of caution, especially when you're hunting with a 7mm Ultra Mag (what was I thinking?)

Never got into the paintball stuff, but I completely understand the growing pile of stuff you thought you didn't need. Anything with a wire attached is my vice, lol.. although I have actually sold a few things out of that pile recently
After 4+ years of driving a F250 I'm finally put it to use for which it was purchased. Tormenting the Prius of NWA is just a fortunate side benefit. Got a new home away from home....
The past, the present and the future walked into a bar. It was tense.

I don't yet. But yes, it's a rear bunkhouse, a bath & half and two slides. Monach says it's 31 ft, but the State says it's 33' (I'll get back to them in just a moment). Took it up the mountain yesterday headed to Nevada...wish I would have had the AE plugged in. Just to see the numbers from the PCM. There was a couple of places the engine was singing a song and the EGT were hitting 1300F and I saw the stock turbo pump-out 30 psi a couple of times Or at least according to the EV2 gauges in the A-pillar. Maybe it's time for some more PMS....on the truck.
As far as the state, another fall-out from the trucks thief last spring. Recently the state has started to offer residents the option to renew our tags for 1, 2 or 3 years. Here's the kicker...you must have had the vehicle tagged for at least the previous 3 years. Here is where I love the state & all their wisdom; I've had my truck for 4 years...but since it got a new tag in April (the original was MIA) the computer doesn't offer me the option for the multi-year renewal. The motorcycle I tagged the same day as the truck...it was offered. And last but not least, the renewal fees are based off the weight of the vehicle, the more it weights, the higher the fee (makes since). Except all pick-ups are a flat fee of $23.75; where is our minivan (about half the weight of the truck) is $27.75 because "it weighs more than the truck" according to the state.
Our fine state has some unusual regs that's for sure. As do many others though.
Are you running any tuning? Where is your Pyrometer? I've never seen 1300F pre-turbo, probe in the manifold, under normal driving or towing, at the drags yes, but pulling hills/grades earlier this June across Tennessee with the 5ver I didn't. Guess the 6.0's might run a little hotter. My stock turbo see's 30psi too with back pressures around 50psi, more than I like, so I'm considering, letting my PMS get to me too!

I will still defend the State of Ark when it comes to oversized permits. In a former career I hauled Tonka toys around. Anything over 8'6" wide you have to have a permit...in Arkansas we had a number we called and got the permit right there on the phone. The longest I was ever on the phone was 15 minutes...and it was a holiday week (not a good time to be moving oversized loads, BTW). When we had to drag one into/out of Okie land we had to call our office in LR who would fill out a form and fax it to OKC. Who may or may not get to it that day. Sometimes if you sent it before 0900 you might get it back before dark. In Ark if you told them you what Hwy you needed, they'd write it that what. Oklahoma you had to give them an exact address, they wouldn't take a town's name or approximate distance down a said road as the delivery point (if you didn't know the exact address).

For some reason Allen I was thinking your running a 6.0L I'm running stock tunes, the truck is 98% stock..."modified" stock exhaust (kitty died one day), ZooDad and gauges. The pryometer is in the exhaust manifold right off #8...I figure that's going to be one of the hottest spots in the exhaust. The stock hair dryer shouldn't boost over 26 psi...which it wasn't most of the time. Both times it did were around the tunnel...climbing the grade from Frog Bayou and climbing up to Hwy 74. Those are the toughest parts of the northward trex. I heard the radiator fan spool up 3-4 times between Alma & Fayetteville...since it was upper '40s/low '50s most of the way that has me concerned (possibility the oil cooler is plugged). Will have to plug the AE and go for a spin to confirm that theory.
This is one form of PSM that's okay to suffer from.
